Welcome to SmoothShare!
SmoothShare allows you to easily share URL's or text to your Meta Quest or Oculus Go from your PC, laptop or mobile phone.
This application is especially usefull to share Smooth Voxel Models as text, so you can view them in VR or AR in your headset.
By using SmoothShare, you agree to the SmoothShare terms.
How to use
- First time use only:
- Choose a secure shared key. Like passwords, longer and complexer is safer.
- Use the same shared key on your device and the Meta Quest. - Copy a url, a text with multiple URL's or just any plain text to your clipboard.
- Press 'Clipboard to Server'.
- In the Meta Quest press 'Server to Clipboard' and click the url or paste the text in the target application.
- To paste a model in the Smooth Voxel Playground, use Load from Clipboard from the Playground menu.
- Note that Quest can't handle very large texts (> 1 mln. characters), so in Smooth Voxel models especially avoid big textures.

Terms of use
By using SmoothShare, you agree to the following terms:
- Do not tell others your shared key (or use a temporary key).
- Do not click on links you did not share yourself or that were not shared by someone you trust. Standard safety rules apply.
- Event though SmoothShare uses encrypted connections and does not store your data, do not share sensitive text or sensitive URL's.
- The shared key and data is not permanently stored or logged on the server, only your last text is kept in memory for you to retrieve.
- You give me permission to access your shared key and data on the server for debugging reasons. I will not disclose your shared key or data publicly.
- This service may NOT be used to automatically send data, only manual actions using the SmoothShare website are allowed.
- This website uses Google Analytics to monitor website traffic.
- In no event shall I, the author of this website, be liable for any damages whatsoever, arising out of or in connection with the use of SmoothShare.
